National Coordinator for HIV Care and Treatment, Uganda Ministry of Health AIDS Control Program
Dr. Mboijana is a pediatrician and child health specialist with over 15 years of experience in clinical care, strategic planning, and implementation of programs addressing HIV care and treatment for pregnant women and children with HIV.
She is the coordinator for adolescent HIV services at the Uganda AIDS Control Program, where she develops, reviews, and evaluates adolescent HIV-related program policies. Her work has focused on the rollout of standards of care for adolescents living with HIV across Uganda with the aim of improving care and treatment outcomes of retention and viral load suppression. She is currently a principal investigator for a study to validate a tool to support HIV testing among children and adolescents.
