Focus Areas

The two-year HIVE project is a partnership with ministries of health and other key stakeholders, including the Global Alliance to End AIDS in Children by 2030. HIVE aims to decrease vertical transmission of HIV in children in Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, and Zambia.  Specific focus areas will include closing the testing, treatment and retention gap for pregnant and breastfeeding women living with HIV as well as early testing and linkage to treatment for infants and to eliminate vertical transmission and keep mothers and their children healthy.
