Event Brief: 

This webinar will highlight country-led approaches to implementing and strengthening postnatal HIV prophylaxis for infants with perinatal HIV exposure. Building on updated WHO guidance, the session will bring together national program leaders, technical partners, and global stakeholders to share lessons from the field, discuss policy and programmatic adaptations, and explore innovations to ensure continuity of prophylaxis throughout the breastfeeding period. Ministry of Health representatives from Kenya and Nigeria will present their countries’ experiences on updating guidelines, tracking prophylaxis coverage, and overcoming implementation challenges.
